3.”Tono Dam” Course
A rock-fill dam with a stunning appearance, often called the “Heisei Pyramid” due to its construction of stacked rocks and stones.
The surrounding area offers plenty to see and do. The memorial plaza, home to the Tono Dam Exchange Center, boasts a beautiful lawn, and visitors can even walk along the top of the dam. Experience the sheer scale of the dam and the surrounding natural beauty.
The area around the dam has minimal traffic, making it perfect for a leisurely bike ride. Pick up a dam card at the Tono Dam Management Office as a souvenir of your visit.
There are also well-maintained walking trails.
